The modem can contact up to 80 different telephone numbers.
Modem of the GMC+ control unit
There is a total speech memory of 90 seconds that can be portioned into maximum 20 different speech segments. A message can consist of one or more speech segments (e.g., introduction and reporting the address are the same but the alarm message is different). It is also possible to repeat the number or to carry out a message repetition.
The modem has a SIA protocol for digitally transmitting (other digital protocols upon request).
The modem is connected to an analogue PSTN telephone line. A DTMF or Pulse code is used to dial the number. In addition, the modem has a telephone line check for checking the presence of a telephone line (dial tone detection) on settable times.
Audio interface
Together with the integration of the modem, the GMC+ control unit also has an audio input executed on a cinch connecting bus that connects to a PA or announcement system. This audio input can operate simultaneously with or independent of the modem function.
Five different messages consisting of one or more speech segments can be sent. The speech memory is the same as the speech memory of the modem aand is thus limited to 90 seconds.
